Front Garden
The south facing front garden rises steeply from the road and has been set down to patio extending onto a wooden deck providing a private and elevated position overlooking the River Fal estuary.
The 10 steps rising from the public highway up to the stable front door are shared with our neighbour at No.5 Trenhaile Terrace.
Rear Garden
The rear garden is accessed via steps from the kitchen. A right of way exists over the land shaded orange to access the higher terraces. In addition, for occasional access to the public highway for heavy works, access can be arranged by permission from the friendly neighbour of the end cottage No.9 Trenhaile Terrace.
Most of the 40 metre long rear garden is mature woodland providing firewood, after seasoning for the cottage. Lower sections have been terraced, in the past used for a vegetable patch and for views extending further along the River Fal. There is the potential to landscape these garden terraces further to provide patios and cabin as other neighbours on Trenhaile Terrace have done.
